Top Dublin based designers Heather Finn [Knitwear] and Fan Regan [ The Printing Room] will join other talented Craft workers and Designers to showcase their work at The Summer Fair.
In June talented craftspeople and designers are taking centre stage inside Marlay House in Rathfarnham at the Summer Fair, organised by the Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Enterprise Board for the third year in a row. Exhibitors will be producing new work inspired by the lazy, hazy days of summer for the “Year of Craft “.
With nearly fifty exhibitors taking part this year, Summer Fair opens to the public on Saturday, June 18th and Sunday, June 19th. This is a free event and gives the public an opportunity to view and buy work direct from the makers!

INTERNATIONAL FAIR FUND
As part of the Craft Council of Ireland export strategy, they are launching an International Fair Fund to assist makers selling abroad at trade and consumer fairs during 2011. If you have plans to attend an International selling event, you may qualify for partial support. To register your interest, e-mail the list of fairs you plan to attend and your contact details to marketdev@ccoi.ie - they will forward criteria and an application form to all those interested in applying.
