investigates our fascination with Scandinavian and Nordic design, discussing the principles and attributes that determine its continued success. Reflecting on this Nordic influence, designers, makers and consultants will discuss strategies, supports and models for success which could strengthen and develop Irish practices.
Irish craft and design launches in Arnotts
Launching to coincide with the St. Patrick’s Day festivities, the Love Irish Design initiative will see Arnotts host a celebration of contemporary Irish designers and will support Irish design with dedicated window displays and through Meet the Designer events, installations, live window demonstrations with the designers in the iconic Henry Street windows and much more. Craft work Imagined, Designed and Made in Ireland is being promoted in the Irish Craft Collection spaces throughout the store which include the home and gift, jewellery, ladies fashion and furniture departments.

A festive Christmas Boutique is popping up in Ranelagh Arts Centre for the second year in a row. Fill your Christmas stockings with a wide range of Irish made gifts starting at €10. With a focus on contemporary, affordable, Irish made products the Christmas Boutique brings together 30 designer makers under one roof.
The Christmas Boutique is open from 11am-6pm from Saturday 12th December to Sunday 23rd December with late opening until 8pm on Thursdays. Ranelagh Arts Centre is located at 26 Ranelagh Main Street, Dublin 6.
