St Matthias Christmas Fair St Matthias Church are having a Christmas Fair on Saturday December 8th, from 12 to 5pm.
Christmas trees, wreaths and holly will be sold in the church grounds and we will be having food vendors (spit roast, baked potatoes, etc).
Inside there will be a cafe selling mince pies, cakes, mulled wine, hot chocolate etc and we will be having children’s games, raffles, spot prizes, music etc.
We would also like to have some vendors who would like to rent a stall from us to sell their wares, and this is where you come in…If you or anyone you know is interested in setting up a stall we would like to hear from you.
Ideally we would like a variety of stalls, selling anything from crafts, gifts, food to jewellery or pottery.
We are marketing the fair in local businesses, schools, leisure centres etc and also in our church magazine “Tidings”.
We will also have good visible signage on Church Road in Killiney from mid-November.
The pitch prices for vendors will be reasonable, to book a table the charge is only €25 (we will however, be asking for a small donation at the end of the day from vendors sales revenue to the Parish Centre Refurbishment Fund, this is discretionary of course.)

The Greystones Educate Together National School Craft Fair will take place on Sunday 18th November, 2012 from 11.00am to 5.00pm. They are looking for crafters, artisans and artists to take part and sell their handmade products in the comfort of their school. They may be able to offer shared tables, so even if you have limited stock, don’t hesitate.

Once you have paid in full and secured your place with The Affordable Gift Fair your business will then be added to the website which we will have images of your product, information about what you offer and links to your website.
Each seller will not have direct competition in the Craft Festival or the Affordable Gift Fair, and will be positioned with complimenting stands around them.
Advertising will be done through invites, Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In, Newspapers and Radio.

These fairs have proved to be a great success both by the crafters and the public as its a “crafts only” fair.
The venue itself is wonderful, bright and airy, easily accessible and free carparking and with every convenience available.

At this moment in time there are enough knitters of children’s and adults and jewellery but needed is fashion knitwear, pottery, woodwork, and always looking for that unusual entrepreneurial crafter.

The Winter Fair Weekend has grown in popularity every year as it gives members of the public a rare opportunity to meet all the designers behind the work. For the craftsperson, it gives them an ideal platform to showcase their new collections in time for the Christmas market. In November 40 talented craftspeople and designers will take over Dalkey Castle and Heritage centre and launch their new collections for Christmas 2011 inspired by the “Year of Craft “activities. Organised by the Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Enterprise Board for the seventh year in a row and eagerly awaited for by exhibitors and visitors alike.
Winter Fair opens to the public on Saturday, November 12th and Sunday, November 13th. This is a free event and gives the public an opportunity to view and buy work direct from the makers!
