Peroni Nastro Azzurro has always enjoyed a very close relationship with Italian fashion, through the shared values of authenticity, craftsmanship and attention to detail.  Peroni has partnered Italian fashion designer Marco de Vincenzo, for a new and exciting collaboration: The Peroni Moda Awards.

The Peroni Moda Awards seek to discover talented and aspiring designers in the Republic of Ireland. The challenge is to create a fashion look that celebrates the iconic Peroni Nastro Azzurro blue ribbon.

Ten finalists will be chosen and asked to create and then display their entry at The Peroni Moda Awards Fashion Show that will take place in Dublin in October 2012.

The prize

An experience of a lifetime: a trip to Milan, Italy for 2 people and the opportunity to work with Marco de Vincenzo behind the scenes of his catwalk show at Milan Fashion Week in February 2013. The winner will also be featured in 2 full spreads in IMAGE magazine and in Tatler Man.

Design criteria

Entries must be designs of a complete outfit, for either a man or a woman, and must reflect the values at the heart of Peroni Nastro Azzurro: passion, craftsmanship, quality, timeless style, attention to detail and exemplify or be inspired by the Peroni Blue Ribbon.

How to enter

The promotion is open to ROI residents aged 25 or over. Entrants should create their designs for a complete fashion look, as per the above design brief, then scan their sketches, designs or images and email them to peronimoda@drury.ie with Peroni Moda Awards and your surname in the subject heading.  Alternatively post to Peroni Moda Awards, 17a Gilford Road, Sandymount, D 4.

Your entry should include:

- the concept,

- line drawings (or picture) of the design,

- suggested colours and description of material which will be used to make the design,

- your contact details : name and surname, age, town/city of residence, email address and preferred telephone number,

- a brief description (maximum 300 words) to explain the inspiration and/or the process behind your design: how it exemplifies the values that Peroni Nastro Azzurro holds in such high esteem.

Remember, you must create a full look and, if chosen as one of the ten finalists, you will be asked to produce a real-life prototype of the full look that can be worn in the catwalk show.

The judging panel

The judging panel will consist of:

Marco de Vincenzo, Italian Designer, Federica Iaconetti, Peroni Nastro Azzurro Brand Manager

Susie Coen, Fashion Editor Image Magazine, Aisling Farinella, Fashion Stylist.

Judging will be based on the design that in the opinion of the judges, most truly portrays the style credentials of Peroni Nastro Azzurro, the iconic blue ribbon and meets the design brief and the need to be produced for the Peroni Moda Awards in October 2012.

Deadline August 10th, 2012, when the competition will be officially closed.
