Margaret Delaney has been a studio potter since 1995. She works in stoneware and porcelain. She brushes on layers of clay slip as part of her decoration of the pot and then scratches through her design – sgraffito. All pieces shown are made with porcelain clay and are wheel thrown, except the water lily which is modelled by hand. Her work can be seen in various exhibitions. Her last solo exhibition was in the Red Stables Gallery, Clontarf – autumn 2010.
