Natalie Katona Design

Natalie Katona is a UK born textile artist who is inspired by romantic, historical costume to create contemporary fashion accessories and jewellery . She explores unusual materials, using vintage fabrics,jewellery and recycled plastic; finishing with hand embroidery techniques to make each piece totally unique.

She has been influenced by both the English and Hungarian sides of her families’ strong tradition of sewing, embroidery and a passion for history. These influences permeate her timeless pieces, her inspiration comes from many places and times; Elizabethan ruffs, historic military uniforms and medals to sentimental Victorian jewellery.
