Jennifer Slattery

Jennifer’s collections include tableware; table runners and napkins in Irish linen, featuring digital prints, appliqué and embroidery, as well as home furnishings; cushions in digital printed silk backed by Irish woven wool, and hand dyed reversible throws featuring embroidery, appliqué, and traditional cabling techniques.

Her most recent collection, ‘An Imperfect World’ is inspired by her grandmother’s house where she now lives; the trinkets that link us to past memories, the ornaments and objects of past generations, worthless in monetary terms but precious and cherished heirlooms. Jennifer’s work is informed by an appreciation of what has gone before; her approach of using multiple techniques to create layered works that echo the charm of the past, creating layered works that can be peeled back to reveal the history of the people who have been there before.
