BLUEPRINT is the first tradeshow in the world to launch exclusively cruise collections with delivery Oct. – Feb. 2012 will also see the addition of a digital fair portal to launch high summer collections, delivery April - August. 2011 was the second installation of BLUEPRINT which saw 105 exhibiting brands and 2012 expects to host approx. >200 curated emerging labels.
2011 also saw >250 buyers from over 19 countries. 2012 expects to see that figure rise to approx. 600 buyers.
In today’s exceedingly competitive climate it is important to maintain the edge on the competition and BLUEPRINT provides a platform for buyers to source emerging labels from both the East as well as the West at competitive price points. BLUEPRINT also sees itself as a gateway between east & west, also providing western designers a chance to come in contact with buyers from both the Middle East & Asia.
BLUEPRINT is also unique in that it has introduced the concept of selling directly at Emporium, meaning that after the 2 day tradeshow, we open the doors to the public and convert into a retail platform where exhibitors have the opportunity to sell current stock. 2011 saw approx. 4000 consumers in attendance. Emporium is also provides an opportunity for labels to get a snapshot of Asian tastes & tendencies in a comfortable & safe environment.
In order to qualify to participate in BLUEPRINT 2012, exhibitors would need to be in a position to create a cruise collection by May 2012 and be export ready with approx. 3 – 4 seasons behind them.
