Temple Bar Traders are looking to organise a Temple Bar Night Market sometime in the future in the Summer. They are opening applications for stalls in the market. The date still has to be tied down in relation to Dublin City Council but we envision it would be a Thursday from 4/5-10pm. We are hoping to make a fun event out of it and hopefully something that will happen again in the future. This will be an outdoor market. There will be the necessary security and event stewards present during this as informed by our health and safety plan.

Would be interested in having a stall during the festival (January 23rd-27th 2013)? They are also looking into having crafts people explaining how they make their crafts or giving live demos. They are going to show the Hands films which documented Irish craftspeople making products by hand. So they are hoping to have a venue in the festival that will be the craft venue. The weekend would be when we would have the most stalls around which would be the 26th and 27th January. As stalls are both indoor and outdoor, I wouldn’t be able to confirm which type would be available, but we would try our best to cater to people for to the Night Market there will be the necessary security and stewards at the festival.
Attracting a daily footfall of 50,000 and with Temple Bar being responsible for a third of the Irish Tourism Market, we think this could be a really good collaboration for everyone.
